Gabriele Serpella

I’m a passionate Game Designer & QA tester and, over the past 3+ years, I’ve been able to work on a wide variety of game types and engines.

Even if my main focus is on game design, over the years I’ve filled many roles that thaught me a great deal about making games, for instance I found myself doing 2d graphics and animation, gamification, level environment and vfx effects.

I’ve worked with several different teams, met many people, and learned quite a number of game production processes along the way.


I’m quick to adapt, and I love learning new things, growing, and pouring my passion into making games. 

Outside of making and playing games, I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, travelling and listening a lot of music!

Game Designer & UI/UX Designer - MERKUR GROUP ​

Full time

  • Creation of GDD with player progression, game balance, UI flows, symbol behavior and their rewards

  • Curate the symbols and rewards of the game “Lucky Pharaoh Wild”

  • Redesign the visual appearing and rewards system of “Centurio” and “Amazonia”

  • Created visual assets, animations, and high-resolution graphics for physical and digital platforms.

  • Orchestrated a cross-functional team of 10 (art, audio, programming) to implement new gameplay features and optimize the overall player experience

  • Managed the full design lifecycle, from initial paper sketches and block-mesh to final implementation in Unreal Engine or Unity.

  • Refined 3C systems character movement and combat combos, significantly elevating the game’s tactile feedback and perceived quality
